A Christian Militia in Texas

The following is from the website of what is apparently a paramilitary Christian group in Amarillo, Texas that has been harrassing the town’s citizens:

This site is not designed for non-christians, It is designed as a recruitment tool to call certain Christians to spiritual warfare…

Our motto: “We are the Special Forces of spiritual warfare, we’re looking for a few good warriors.”

The group, Repent Amarillo, has been targeting Planned Parenthood, schools, Earth Day events, “demonically based concerts,” gay pride events, Halloween events, and “sexually oriented businesses,” as locations to wage their “warfare.”  When you have fundamentalist Christians acting like a militia, a sheriff arming retirees to create an anti-terrorist force in his town, a wildly militarized federal government, a governor calling for his state to secede,  a member of congress suggesting that foreign policy should be based on Biblical curses, and right-wingers declaring themselves sovereign nations, you have a seriously deranged political culture.

The video below shows members of Repent Amarillo dressed in fatigues and harassing people at a local swingers club.
