Truth is spelled: l-i-b-e-l

Dick Cheney says Barack Obama is guilty of libel because he used the word “torture” to describe things like:

1 ) Putting captives in a stress position until their ankles swell to twice their normal size; 2 ) placing individuals in tiny, sweltering boxes with stinging insects; 3 ) threatening to drill through a prisoner’s skull with a power tool; 4 ) denying prisoners sleep with a combination of bright lights, deafening music, and freezing temperatures for days on end; 5) placing individuals in complete sensory isolation for weeks; 6 ) drowning individuals in a controlled way so that they nearly lapse into unconsciousness; 7 ) threatening to kill and/or rape an individual, his wife or children; 8 ) throwing people into walls, slapping them in the face, and kicking them in the legs repeatedly;  9 ) killing people.

You see, it’s not “torture.” It’s “enhanced interrogation.” To call it torture is libel and slander.

I’d like to see that question resolved in an actual court.
