Worst. Artwork. Ever.

You simply MUST look at this painting.  It is one of the most amusingly ridiculous things I have ever seen on the internet.

Don’t look at it too long, or you might lose your eyesight or throw up or something.

It is a painting by a guy named Jon McNaughton, and it shows Jesus holding the U.S. constitution (I know!), and standing at the center of a series of past and current Americans (some specific, some generalized).   Here’s the best bit: when you move your cursor around the painting, look to the right of the screen, and you will see an explanation of the various figures in the painting.  You have to do this.  I insist.

Some of my favorites include:

-”Mr. Hollywood,” who “looks down at the judge and pregnant woman with ridicule and amusement.”

-”The Professor,” who “tightly holds his Origin of Species book” and has a “smug expression.”

-”Immigrant,” who has “a look of shock when he realizes where the source of America’s greatness comes from as he sees Christ holding the Constitution.”  (You can’t make this stuff up).

-Christa McAuliffe standing next to Ben Franklin.  That’s just good stuff.

Wow.  The Supreme Court Judge is pretty awesome, too.  The whole thing is off-the-charts nuts.
